cy, ond I think we should have it, I like the color.

mittee. There is some discussion going on at the Local

Government Committee of this Commission relative to the

|
abolition of counties and the caking of a provision for the
|

|
creation of regional districts.

It obviously, of course, is an attempt to meet

the problems you are experiencing both here and in Metro-
|

|
politan Washington with the overlapping of governmental
|

|
functions within county lines, and there is some discussion
|

|
going on as to whether or not we should provide in the Con-
|
21
|
stitution either for an abolishment of the existing county
|
