476. And upon receiving such warrant the said keeper
may sell such horse, mare, gelding, mule, horned cattle or
vehicle at public auction at some place in said County, after
giving ten days' notice in one paper in Baltimore County
and hand-bills set up in the vicinity of such sale of the
tune, place and manner of sale, and after deducting the
amount due for keeping and all expenses of said sale shall
pay the surplus, if any, to the owner, or other person en-
titled thereto.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 508.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 56 of Article 101 of the 1929 Supplement to the
Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of Mary-
land, as amended by Chapter 406 of the Acts of 1931,
title "Workmen's Compensation, " sub-title "Appeals, ''
changing the procedure on and right of appeal from de-
cisions of the State Industrial Accident Commission.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 56 of Article 101 of the 1929 Sup-
plement to the Annotated Code of the Public General Laws
of Maryland, as amended by Chapter 406 of the Acts of
1931, title "Workmen's Compensation, " sub-title "Ap-
peals, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

56. Any employer, employee, beneficiary or person feel-
ing aggrieved by any decision of the Commission affecting
his interests under this Article, may have the same re-
viewed by a proceeding in the nature of an appeal and initi-
ated in the Circuit Court of the county or in the Common
Law Courts of Baltimore City having jurisdiction over the
place where the accident occurred or over the person ap-
pealing from such decision, and the court shall, from the
record made before the Commission (or upon any stipula-
tion of the facts which may be agreed to and signed by
the parties and filed with such appeal), determine whether
the Commission has exceeded the powers granted it by the
