Cambridge, Maryland; provided the sum so borrowed shall
at no time exceed the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, -
000. 00) unless otherwise expressly authorized by law; the
authority to borrow the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars
($10, 000. 00) provided for in this section is in addition to
the right of the said the Commissioners of Cambridge,
Maryland, to borrow Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, 000. 00)
as provided for in Section 63 of Article 10, of Flack's Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, 1930 Edition, title "Dor-
chester County, " sub-title "Cambridge, " which was enacted
by the Acts of 1927, Chapter 38, Section 26.
This increase of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, 000. 00) in
the borrowing capacity of the Commissioners of Cam-
bridge, Maryland, as herein provided, shall extend for a
period of three (3) years from the date of the passage of
this Act.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 484.
AN ACT to add a new Section to Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Talbot County, " sub-title "Trappe, " said new Section
to be known as Section 536A, and to follow after Sec-
tion 536 of said Article, authorizing The Commissioners
of Trappe to contribute from their general funds to the
support of the Volunteer Fire Company in said Town.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new Section be and it is hereby added to
Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Talbot County", sub-title "Trappe",
said new Section to be known as Section 536A, to follow
after Section 536 of said Article and to read as follows:
536A. The Commissioners of Trappe are hereby author-
ized, in their discretion, to pay annually from the general
