games on Sunday in said incorporated towns; provided,
however, that said repeal shall not take effect until an ordi-
nance passed in the exercise of the power granted under
the provisions of Section 1 of this Act has been approved
by the voters of the said respective incorporated towns, as
provided in Section 2 of this Act, but shall be repealed only
as to such incorporated town or towns in which such ordi-
nance has been passed and approved in accordance with
the provisions of this Act, but as to all other such incor-
porated towns, the said Sections 483 and 485 of said Article
27 shall continue and remain in full force and effect as if
this Act had not been passed.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the authority
and power granted by this Act to the several incorporated
towns in Prince George's County shall be exercised by the
corporate bodies of said incorporated towns, whether
known and designated as "Mayor and City Council, "
"Mayor and Town Council, " or by any other name, and
the authority and power granted by this Act shall be exer-
cised by each of the incorporated towns in Prince George's
County to the same extent as if said authority and power
had granted and conferred in the particular Act or Acts
incorporating each of said incorporated towns, and it is
hereby declared to be the intention of the General Assembly
of Maryland, that the authority and power conferred and
granted by this Act are hereby conferred upon each of the
incorporated towns in Prince George's County to the same
extent as if a separate Act had been passed conferring said
authority and power upon each of said incorporated towns
by name.
SEC. 4A. And be it further enacted, That should any
section, or part of a section of this Act be held to be in-
valid for any reason, such holding shall not be construed
as affecting the validity of any remaining section or part
of a section of this Act, it being the legislative intent that
the remainder of this Act shall stand, notwithstanding the
invalidity of such section or part of a section.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws, whether Public General or Public Local Laws, in-
consistent with the provisions of this Act be and they are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.
