other assessment of tax whatsoever, then the assessments
levied under this act shall become immediately due and pay-
able and the property against which they are levied may
be sold therefor, together with accrued interest thereon
and costs to day of sale if any sale made hereunder shall
be set aside for failure to comply with the terms hereof,
that fact shall not bar the right of said town to collect
said assessment and enforce the lien thereof by equitable
suit as aforesaid.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 449.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
100 of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore County (as
enacted by Section 93, Chapter 173, Acts, 1930), codified
in Offutt's Revised Code of the Public Local Laws of
Baltimore County, Edition of 1929, title No. 11, "Circuit
Court, " (Flack's Code, 1930, Article 3, Section 100), so
as to provide such additional duties of stenographic and
secretarial character as the members of the Circuit Court
for Baltimore County may require the Court Stenogra-
pher to perform, and to fix control of said Court
Stenographer's salary (not exceeding $2, 500. 00 per an-
num) in said court.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 100 of the Public Local Laws of
Baltimore County (as enacted by Section 93, Chapter 173,
Acts, 1930), codified in Offutt's Revised Code of the Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County, Edition of 1929, title No.
11, "Circuit Court, " (Flack's Code, 1930, Article 3, Section
100), be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, so as to read as follows:
Section 100. The Circuit Court for Baltimore County
be and it is hereby authorized to employ a Court Stenog-
rapher, who shall be a sworn officer of the Court, and in
addition to the other duties provided by law, he shall per-
form such stenographic and secretarial work as the Court
