duty of the said supervisors to make proper provisions in
advance, so that they will be able to make and furnish such
copies when ordered, as hereinbefore required. But the
provisions of this section in reference to the printing and
posting of copies of the alphabetical list of registered voters
and the names erased from the books of registry shall not
apply to Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

SEC. 2. And be further it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on and After June 1st, 1933.

CHAPTER 397.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
23, 25 and 27 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County, " sub-title "Auditing Committees, " changing cer-
tain dates as to the appointment and reports of the
Auditing Committees due to change of the fiscal year of
Frederick County and providing for the auditing of the
accounts of the Sheriff.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 23, 25 and 27 of Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Frederick County, " sub-title "Auditing Committees, "
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:

23. It shall be the duty of the Judges of the Circuit
Court for Frederick County, annually, at the Decem-
ber term of said court, to appoint from among repre-
sentative taxpayers of said county, and without the least
reference to their political opinions, and known for their
honesty, integrity, sound judgment and aptitude for skill-
ful accounting, three persons, who shall constitute an
auditing committee, whose duty it shall be to examine care-
fully the accounts, vouchers, books and papers of the Board
of County Commissioners of Frederick County, the Com-
missioners of Charities and Corrections of Frederick
County, the Board of School Commissioners and treasurer
thereof Frederick County, the treasurer of Frederick
