SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby
added to Article 35 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
title "Evidence, " sub-title "Public Statutes and Office
Copies and Official Certificates, " said new section to be
known as 68A and to follow immediately after Section 68
of said Article and to read as follows:

68A. A copy of any books, papers, entries, records or
proceedings pertaining to the office of the State Roads
Commission, when certified to by the Secretary of the State
Roads Commission, shall be received as evidence in any
court of law or equity, or before any judge, justice of the
peace, or other tribunal in this State, in the same manner
and to have the same effect as if the original books,. papers,
entries, records or proceedings were themselves produced.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 318.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
98 of Article 77 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, 1929 Edition, entitled "Public Education, "
sub-title "Teachers' Retirement System, " sub-heading
"Management of Funds, " permitting a Deputy Treasurer
to make payment from retirement funds.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 98 of Article 77 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, 1929 Edition, entitled
"Public Education, " sub-title "Teachers' Retirement Sys-
tem, " sub-heading "Management of Funds, " be, and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
so as to read as follows:

98. MANAGEMENT OF FUNDS.

(1) The Board of Trustees shall be the trustees of the
several funds created by this sub-title as provided in Sec-
tion 99, and shall have full power to invest and reinvest
