of April 1, 1934, and the issue of $380, 000 of April 1, 1935,
respectively.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the actual cash
proceeds of the sale of the certificates of indebtedness to
be issued, under this Act, other than the certificates of in-
debtedness to be issued and delivered to the Teachers' Re-
tirement System of Maryland as set forth in Section 6 of
this Act, shall be paid to the Treasurer of the State upon
the warrant of the Comptroller, and such proceeds shall be
used exclusively for the following purposes, to wit:

The Comptroller shall immediately upon the sale of and
payment for said bonds or certificates of indebtedness, first
return to and credit the Treasury for whatever advances
or payments may have been made as provided for by Sec-
tion 5 of this Act; the remainder of the proceeds of said
loan shall be credited on the books of the State Treasury
Department to the credit of the institutions and depart-
ments hereinafter named, in the amounts hereinafter speci-
fied, and by them used, expended and applied for the fol-
lowing purposes:

To the Springfield State Hospital, for the construction
of a new building or buildings and equipment for same
for additional patients, $100, 000, and for power plant
equipment and extension to sewerage and water systems
and for laundry machinery, $45, 000, aggregating $145, 000,
of which $45, 000 shall be from the issue of February 15,
1934, and $100, 000 from the issue of August 15, 1934.

To the Spring Grove State Hospital, for the construction
of a new building and equipment for the same for addi-
tional patients, $100, 000, all from the issue of August 15,
1934.

To the Crownsville State Hospital, for fire protection
and extension of water supply, $25, 000, all from the issue
of February 15, 1934.

To the Rosewood State Training School, for the con-
struction of a new building or buildings and equipment for
the same for additional patients, $100, 000, and for power
plant equipment and addition to power house, $45, 000, ag-
gregating $145, 000, of which $25, 000 shall be from the
issue of August 15, 1933, and $120, 000 from the issue of
February 15, 1934.

To the State Board of Welfare, for remodeling and re-
pairing roofs and for additions to buildings and electrical
wiring at the Maryland Penitentiary, $140, 000, of which
