157. After June 1, 1933, white students regularly ad-
mitted to or enrolled in any class at the State normal
schools from the City of Baltimore and the several coun-
ties, who shall obligate themselves to teach in the State of
Maryland, shall pay such uniform fees and tuition charges
as may be fixed by the State Board of Education. Other
students who possess the prescribed qualifications may be
admitted to these schools, in the discretion of the board of
trustees, on payment of an additional fee as determined by
the board of trustees.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 226.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
56 of Article 77 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, 1924 Edition, title "Public Education, " sub-
title "County Board of Education, " for the purpose of
reducing the minimum tax to be levied by the Board of
County Commissioners for current repairs, furniture in
old buildings, maintenance and support of county
schools from thirty-four cents (34c) to thirty cents
(30c) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of assessable
property.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 56 of Article 77 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, 1924 Edition, title
"Public Education, " sub-title "County Board of Educa-
tion, " be, and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
56. The county board of education, each year, begin-
ning with the year 1916, shall prepare, subject to the rules
and regulations of the State Board of Education and on
and with the advice of the county superintendent, an item-
ized and detailed school budget, showing the unexpended
balance on hand or in the treasury of the county board of
education for each specific purpose allowed and levied by
