empowered to renew, re-issue, extend or refund any of the
obligations of said Town that may be outstanding, pro-
vision for the payment of which is dependent upon the
payment of the special assessments hereby extended, for
such time and at such a rate, not exceeding six per cent,
and upon such conditions as said Mayor and Common
Council may determine.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That any sale, ex-
cept to a purchaser who has paid therefor, of property
covered by this Act, which has heretofore been ratified
by the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, be and
the same is hereby set aside and made null and void; and
tax liens against all properties heretofore sold, as per
reports filed in the Circuit Court of Prince George's
County by the County Treasurer of said County, be and
the same are hereby released and made null and void.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed,
and the invalidity of one clause or provision of this Act
shall not affect any other clause or provision thereof.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health, safety
and welfare, and being passed by a yea and nay vote sup-
ported by three-fifths of all the Members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 199.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
304 of Article 43 of the Code, of Public General Laws of
Maryland, 1924 Edition, title "Health, " sub-title "Under-
takers, " for the purpose of allowing the delivery of dead
bodies from the place where the casket was finally sealed
and closed to the cemetery by unlicensed (employees of
duly licensed undertakers; and for the further purpose
of providing for the acceptance by the cemetery of bodies
so delivered.

(Vetoed. )
