LAWS OF MARYLAND OF 1933
MARYLAND, Sct.:
At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun
and held in the City of Annapolis, on the Fourth day
of January, 1933, and ending on the Third day of
April, 1933, the Honorable Albert C. Ritchie, being
Governor of the State, the following Laws were
enacted, to wit:
CHAPTER 1.
AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "County Commission-
ers, " said new sections to be known as Sections 184A and
184B and to follow immediately after Section 184 of said
Article, authorizing and empowering the County Com-
missioners of Queen Anne's County to borrow monkey on
the credit of the County, to be secured by promissory
note or notes, the amounts so borrowed not to exceed the
sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100, 000) at
any one time and providing for the method of borrowing
said money and for repaying same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That two new sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " said new sections to be
known as Sections 184A and 184B, to follow immediately
after Section 184 of said Article, and to read as follows:
184A. The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's
County are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow,
for the purpose of defraying current general running ex-
penses of said County from banks, bankers or individuals,
sums of money not exceeding Thousand Dol-
lars ($100, 000) in the aggregate outstanding at any one
time, and to give to the lender the promissory notes
of the County; signed or endorsed by the County Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's County, as such County Commis-
