in payment of the obligations hereinafter mentioned or if
deemed desirable the said the Burgess and Commissioners
are hereby authorized to sell the said bonds at public sale
in the Town of Hancock at such times, in such amounts,
and after such advertisement as said the Burgess and Com-
missioners of Hancock shall determine and to use the
proceeds therefrom or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary for the purpose of liquidating the outstanding indebt-
edness of the Burgess and Commissioners of Hancock, as
follows, to wit:
To the Hancock Bank........................................................... $10, 000. 00
To the First National Bank of Hancock............ 3, 000. 00
To the Potomac Real Estate and Construction
Company.............................................................................. 3, 000. 00
To the Potomac Edison Company............................. 2, 750. 00
To Mary R. Vance.......................................................... 1, 000. 00
or the said the Burgess and Commissioners of Hancock
are hereby authorized to deliver part of the said bonds and
to use the proceeds from such remaining part of said bonds
as the said the Burgess and Commissioners of Hancock
may elect to sell for the purpose of liquidating the said
indebtedness.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Burgess
and Commissioners of Hancock shall in each and every
year levy upon the assessable property in said town such
sums of money as may be necessary, if any, to pay the in-
terest on said bonds as said interest shall become due, and
also to levy such sums in addition thereto, if any, as may
be required to redeem said bonds as the same mature from
time to time until all said bonds shall have been paid off.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.
