CHAPTER 110.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
688 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington County, "
sub-title "Orphans' Court, " decreasing the compensation
of the Judges of the Orphans' Court of Washington
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 688 of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County, " sub-title "Orphans' Court, " be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to
read as follows:
688. The sessions of the Orphans' Court of Washington
County shall be held on Tuesday and Friday of each week,
from 10 o'clock A. M. until 3 o'clock P. M., and on such
other days as in the judgment of the Court the public busi-
ness and convenience requires; and the said Judges of the
Orphans' Court of Washington County shall each receive
the sum of Five Dollars ($5. 00) for each day's attendance
upon the sessions of said Court.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
not be construed to affect the compensation of the present
incumbents during the term for which they were elected,
but shall only apply to those appointed or elected after this
Act becomes effective.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 111.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
753 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington County, "
sub-title "Sheriff, " decreasing the cost of keeping pris-
oners confined in the County Jail of Washington County.
