SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the; same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 108.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
139 of Article 22. of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " decreasing the com-
pensation of the County Commissioners of Washington
County
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 139 of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, "
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:
139. The County Commissioners of Washington County
hereafter elected to said office shall each receive for their
services an annual salary of six hundred dollars ($600. 00),
payable in monthly installments.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1935.

796 and 797 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington
