CHAPTER 99.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sec-
tions 425, 430, 432, 433, 434, 437 and 440 of Article
2 of the Code of Public Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Sanitary
Districts, " and to add a new Section to said Article, the
said Section to follow immediately after Section 429 and
to be known as Section 429A, relating to the Sanitary
Districts within Anne Arundel County; providing for
the bonding of all monies deposited, by depository bond
or to be protected by other securities; providing for an
annual audit of accounts by a Certified Public Account-
ant; providing that all bonds issued by the Sanitary Com-
mission of Anne Arundel County, whether under the pro-

visions of Chapter 313 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1931 or any Act prior thereto,
creating said Commission or authorizing it to issue bonds
bearing the guaranty of said Anne Arundel County, shall
be deemed to be issued upon the faith and credit of
Anne Arundel County and subject to payment as to prin-
cipal and interest in the manner provided for bonds is-
sued pursuant to the provisions of said Act; providing
penalties on benefit charges, and for other purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 425, 430, 432, 433, 434, 437,
and 440 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, "
sub-title "Sanitary Districts, " Be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments and a new Sec-
tion added to said Article to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 429 and to be known as Section 429A, amendments
and new Section to read as follows:

Section 425. For the purpose of carrying out the pro-
visions of this Act, the said Sanitary District, and every
new Sanitary District created hereafter, shall be under the
jurisdiction of a Commission of, three educated persons,
who shall reside within a Sanitary District of Anne Arun-
del County, be resident taxpayers of said county and quali-
fied voters thereof. The term of each of the three members
shall be three years, and until their successors are ap-
pointed and have qualified. The three Commissioners now
constituting the Commission shall hold office until the ex-
piration of the terms for which they were respectively
