cooked and served in a proper and sanitary condition as
hereinbefore provided, and keeping the jail in a clean and
tidy condition; and the County Commissioners shall not pay
said Sheriff for any service he may render in the discharge
of his official duties any further or other compensation and
shall not be in any way liable for any fees now or which
may hereafter be allowed said Sheriff by law, or for any
further compensation than that as above provided.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 96.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
112 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett County, " sub-
title "County Treasurer, " fixing the fee which the
Treasurer shall be entitled to charge against each piece
of property sold for taxes and to be paid by said Treas-
urer to the auctioneer for his services in conducting
such sale.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 112 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Gar-
rett County, " sub-title "County Treasurer, " be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
to read as follows:

112. The treasurer shall be entitled to; the following
fees: For advertising property for sale under the pro-
visions of Section 109 of this sub-title of: this Article, to
enforce the payment of taxes, if; the property be sold the
treasurer shall; receive one per cent, on the gross amount
of sales with his expenses as aforesaid; but if the amount
due be paid without sale he shall receive one per cent,
on the amount collected and his: expenses as aforesaid, to
be paid by the party paying, who shall be entitled to an
itemized bill; and the treasurer shall be entitled to charge
against each piece of property sold for the collection of
taxes the sunn of fifty cents, to be paid by said treasurer
