hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read
as follows:
106. The Treasurer shall receive as compensation for
his services as Treasurer, and as clerk to the County Com-
missioners, such sum as may be fixed by the County Com-
missioners, not exceeding Seventeen Hundred Dollars
($1, 700. 00) per annum, the said salary to be payable in
equal monthly instalments by Talbot County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
not be construed to affect the compensation of the Treas-
urer already elected but shall apply to any Treasurer here-
after appointed or elected.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, l9S3.

CHAPTER 73.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
272, 280 and 283 of Article 21 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot
County, " sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables, "
sub-heading "Police Justices, " Section 280 having been,
amended by Chapter 286 of 1931, relating to the salaries
of the Police Justices of Talbot County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 272, 280 and 283 of Article 21 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Talbot County, " sub-title "Justices of the Peace and
Constables, " sub-heading "Police Justices, " Section 280
having been amended by Chapter 286 of 1931, be and they
are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:
272. The said Police Justice shall receive as compensa-
tion for his services such salary as may be fixed by
the County Commissioners of Talbot County, not ex-
ceeding Eight Hundred and Ten Dollars ($810. 00) per
