The salaries paid to the Supreme Brench in Baltimore City are $10, 000. 00 per
year. Baltimore City pays $3, 125. 00 and the State pays $6, 875. 00. The State further
pays Baltimore City $1, 625. 00 which represents the difference between $6, 875. 00, actu-
ally paid to the Judges, and $8, 500. 00 appropriated to them. [The emergency reduc-
tion of $3, 430. 00 as set forth above, is a 14 per cent reduction in the salaries of the
Trust Clerk of the Supreme Bench and the Chief Clerks of Baltimore City Courts as
set forth in lines 5 and 6 above. ]
