piration by an order of the Orphans' Court where such will
was probated for a further period of not exceeding six
months upon any one application, upon a petition showing
reasonable cause and on notice given to such persons and
in such manner as the Orphans' Court may direct.

CHAPTER 589.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Sections
316 and 317 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-title "Kidnapping, " defining and punishing
the crime of kidnapping.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 316 and 317 of Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes
and Punishments, " sub-title "Kidnapping, " be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read
as follows:
316. Every person, his counsellors, aiders or abettors,
who shall be convicted of the crime of kidnapping and
forcibly or fraudulently carrying or causing to be carried
out of or within this State any person with intent to have
such person carried out of or within this State, or with the
intent to have such person concealed within the State or
without the State, shall be sentenced to the penitentiary
for not more than thirty years.
317. Every person, his counsellors, aiders or abettors,
who shall be convicted of kidnapping and forcibly or
fraudulently stealing, taking or carrying away any child
under the age of sixteen years shall be sentenced to the
penitentiary for not more than thirty years.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.
