paid into the Treasury; to James Si Waters, the
sum of forty dollars and fifty cents; and to Cush-
ing and Bailey twenty-four dollars for Stationery
furnished the Lieutenant Governor's room; for
the Assistant State Librarian two hundred dollars
additional; the Private Secretary of the Governor,
one hundred dollars additional; to Littleton R.
Polle, for professional services in full, one hundred
and twenty-five dollars, and pay Small and Straun
three hundred dollars for money erroneously paid
into the Treasury as Merchandise Brokers.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of
the State, upon the warrant of the Comptroller of
the Treasury Department, disburse the said sums
of money herein appropriated for the objects and
purposes specified, to or upon the order of the per-
son or persons, bodies politic or corporate several-
ly entitled thereto and upon the proper vouchers.

take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to amend an Act passed at January Ses-
sion eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, chapter
four hundred and ten, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Mineral Hill Mining Company of
Maryland," by authorizing an increase of capital
and further remedies for the non-payment of
calls upon stockholders.

WHEREAS, the corporation authorized by the act
to which this is a supplement has made large ex-
penditures for the pur poses authorized b v its charter,
and further expenditures to a large amount are re-
quired for such purposes, and an increase of its
stock, and the rendering effectual of the calls for
money made or to be made upon its stockholders.
