CHAPTER 147.
AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General
Assembly to the bequest of William W. John-
son, late of Somerset county, deceased, to the
Vestry of Somerset parish, in said county.

Passed Jan.
31, 1866.

WHEREAS, William W. Johnson, late of Somer-
set county, deceased, by his last will and testament,
duly admitted to probate, and recorded in the
office of Register of Wills for said county, be-
queathed the sum of five thousand dollars to the
Vestry of Somerset parish in said county, and to
their successors in office, for the use and benefit of
St. Andrew's Church, in Princess Anne, in said
county; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is hereby
given and declared to the said devise and bequest of
the said William W. Johnson.

take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to secure the completion of the Kent
County Railroad by the Kent County Railroad
Company, and to regulate the mode of voting at
meetings of the Stockholders of Railroad Com-
panies on the Eastern Shore.

SECTION 1. Be it. enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the lien held by the State of
Maryland on the property of the Kent County
Railroad Company, to secure the payment of six
per centum interest out of the profits of the work,
