ration, and nothing more shall be liable for the
same, and the service of legal process on any of
the directors shall be a sufficient service on the
said corporation.

 

Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That the General
Assembly hereby reserves to itself the right to
alter or repeal this act of Assembly at pleasure.

Reservation.

Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Sec. 9. And be, it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That when fifteen hundred shares of
the capital stock of this corporation shall have
been subscribed, and thirty thousand dollars actu-
ally paid in, the corporators may avail themselves
of this act.

CHAPTER 130.

 

AN ACT to authorize the Comptroller to credit
Benjamin G. Fitzhugh, late Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Frederick county, with a certain sum
paid Robert G. McPherson, for services as
Deputy Clerk.

Passed Feb.
7, 1866.

SECTION 1.. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to credit Benjamin
G. Fitzhugh, in the settlement of his account as
late clerk of the Circuit Court for Frederick county,
the sum of one hundred and thirty-five dollars and
ninety-five cents, being the amount paid by him to
Robert G. McPherson, for extra services as Deputy
Clerk.

Credit allow-
ed.

Sec. 1. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
