their successors and assigns, be and they are here-
by incorporated and made a body politic, by the
name of the Baltimore Rifle Target Shooting Com-
pany, and by that name shall have perpetual suc-
cession; the objects of which shall be moral and
social, and to acquire proficiency and skill as
marksmen.

Objects,

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That said corpora-
tion shall have full power to make and amend a
constitution and by-laws for its government, to
sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, to have
and use a common seal, with the privilege of alter-
ing the same at pleasure; to purchase, take and
hold, by deed or otherwise, any property, real, per-
sonal, or mixed, and the same, or any part there-
of, to dispose of at pleasure, and to execute such
deed or deeds, or other conveyances as may be ne-
cessary therefor, to issue stock and make all suit-
able and necessary regulations, for the purchase,
sale and transfer of the same, to borrow money, to
impose fines on the members, and collect the same
as other small debts are collected, to expel mem-
bers, to make provisions for the admission of mem-
bers, and to provide for the election of such officers
as may be deemed necessary for the proper man-
agement of the affairs of said corporation, and
generally to have and exercise all such other and
further corporate powers as may be necessary for
the purpose of carrying out effectually the objects

and purposes of this Act; provided, that the stock
and property of said corporation shall not exceed
the sum of one hundred thousand dollars; and
provided further, that nothing herein contained
shall be construed to give said corporation any
banking privileges.

Provisos.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the members
of said corporation shall have power to exercise in
Target or other Shooting, at any time they may
deem proper, except on the Sabbath day, com-
monly called Sunday, and that all laws and parts
of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act, be and the same are hereby repealed.

take effect from and after the date of its passage.
