Chapter 48.

 

AN ACT to continue the corporate franchises

 

granted by the act entitled " An Act to incorpo-

 

rate the Frederick and Emmittsburg Turnpike

 

Company," passed at December session, eighteen

 

hundred and forty-four, chapter one hundred and

 

thirty-six, and by the several supplements and

 

amendments to said act subsequently passed, and

 

to repeal section fourteen of said act of incorpo-

 

ration, and to substitute a new section in lieu

 

thereof, to read as follows :

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the corporate franchises

porate the Frederick and Emmittsburg Turnpike
