SEC. 25. And be it enacted, That the County

Commissioners of Cecil county may, at discretion,
|

levy annually upon the assessable property of the
county, and pay over to the said president and com-
|

missioners such sum as they may see fit, to aid in

|
|
keeping the streets of said town, as part of the public
|
 
|
|
roads of the county, in good repair.
|
 
|
|
SEC. 26. And be it enacted, That if the inhabi-

tants of said town at any time neglect to make an
|
 
|
|
election as herein directed, the power of electing
|
 
|
|
commissioners shall not thereupon cease, bnt shall
|

continue as though such election had been made,

and the president and commissioners for the time

being shall remain in office until such annual elec-

tion shall be held.

SEC. 27. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants

of said town, at the annual election for commissioners

SEC. 28. And be it enacted, That this act shall

take effect from and after the date of its passage,

but it shall not be necessary that this act shall be
|
 
|
|
published as prescribed by the provisions of the
|
Effective.
