Chapter 401.

AN ACT to give and declare the sanction of the

General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest to

the Lutheran Church in Smithburg, Washington

county, contained in the last will and testament

of David Flora, deceased.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General

Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby

given to the bequest of one hundred dollars to the

Lutheran Church in Smithburg, Washington county,

Sanction given

Maryland, contained in the last will and testament

of David Flora, of said county, deceased, said will

having been admitted to probate on the twenty-

fourth day of June, A. D., eighteen hundred and

eighty-one, and recorded in the office of the Regis-

ter of Wills of said county.

Chapter 402

AN ACT to revive the act incorporating certain

trustees to build an Academy or School House,

in or near the town of Manchester, in Baltimore

county, to be known by the name of the Man-

chester United Academy or School, passed at the

session of the General Assembly of Maryland in

the year eighteen hundred and twenty-eight,

chapter one hundred, and re-enact the same with

amendments.

WHEREAS by the provisions of chapter one hun-

dred of the session in the year eighteen hundred

and twenty-eight of the acts of the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, incorporating certain trustees to

Preamble,

build an academy or school-house in or near the

town of Manchester, in Baltimore county, to be

known by the name of the Manchester United
