Chapter 350.

 

AN ACT to add a sub-section to section ten of the

 

act of eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, chapter

 

one hundred and forty-three, entitled "An act to

 

repeal the act of 1860, chapter 359, which in-

 

corporated the Baltimore and Little Gunpowder

 

Falls Turnpike Company, and to incorporate in

 

the stead thereof the Baltimore and Jerusalem

 

Turnpike Company."

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the following sub-section,

 

to be called sub section A, be added to section ten

 

of the act of 1867, chapter 143, entitled "An act to

ated the Baltimore and Little Gunpowder Falls

 

Turnpike Company, and to incorporate in the stead

 

thereof the Baltimore and Jerusalem Turnpike

SUB-SECTION A. Be it enacted by the General

 

Assembly of Maryland, That if any person or per-

 

sons shall take off, or cause to be taken off, any

 

horse or horses, mare or mares, gelding or geldings

 

or other cattle from any wagon or carriage of

 

burthen or pleasure, within one-fourth of a mile of

 

any gate erected, or which shall be erected, by said

pursuance of its act of incorporation, or heretofore

 

erected, and said wagon or carriage shall after-
