nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent

said druggist from keeping and using alcohol as a

solvent for drugs, when such solutions are not to be

used as a beverage.

SUB-SECTION 6-6. Any person who shall sell or
|
 
|
barter any intoxicating or spirituous or fermented
|
 
|
liquors without first having obtained a license as
|
 
|
required by this act shall, upon indictment and con-
|
 
|
viction therefor by the Circuit Court for Somerset
|
 
|
county, be fined not less than one hundred dollars
|
 
|
nor more than three hundred dollars, and be sen-
|

than three months nor more than six months; and

it shall be the duty of any justice of the peace, upon

information received and confirmed by the oath of

a creditable witness, to have any person so offending

shall give sufficient bail or recognizance, with sureties,
|
 
|
to appear before the Circuit Court at the next suc-

ceeding term thereof to answer the charge.

SUB-SECTION 7-7. Nothing in this act shall be

|
construed to authorize any sale or barter or giving
|
 
|
away of any spirituous or fermented liquors or lager

SUB-SECTION 9-9. And be it enacted, That all

act, be and the same are hereby repealed so far as

said Dublin district aforesaid in Somerset county is
|
 
|
concerned.
