of voters or poll-book of such election district or

election precinct, they or he shall order said clerk

and officer of registration to enter the name of such

petitioner, or to enter again, or to enter correctly the

name of said petitioner as a qualified and registered

voter, and his residence, in the proper registry of

voters and poll-book, or in the poll-book of such

election district or election precinct then in the cus-

tody of such clerk or officer of registration, and

shall order the said officer of registration to enter

the proper name and residence of such petitioner

in the proper poll-book of such election district or

election precinct which may then be in the custody

of the sheriff of his county, or may then be in the

custody of the Board of Police Commissioners for the
