Chapter 351.

AN ACT to repeal sections one, two and four of
|
 
|
chapter thirty-one of the acts of eighteen hundred
|
 
|
and sixty-five, and section one of chapter four
|
 
|
hundred and forty of the acts of eighteen hundred
|
 
|
and sixty-eight, amending the same, and chapter
|
 
|
sixty-seven of the acts of eighteen hundred and
|
 
|
sixty-eight, adding an additional section to the
|
 
|
acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-five aforesaid,
|
 
|
and re-enact the same so as to read as follows:
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That sections one, two and four
|
 
|
of chapter thirty-one of the acts of eighteen hundred
|
 
|
and sixty-five, and section one of chapter four hun-
|
 
|
dred and forty of the acts of eighteen hundred and
|

sixty-eight, amending the same, and section one of

|
chapter sixty-seven of the acts of eighteen hundred
|
 
|
and sixty-eight, adding an additional section to the
|
 
|
act of eighteen hundred and sixty-five, chapter
|
 
|
thirty-one, be and the same are hereby repealed and
|
 
|
the following enacted in lieu thereof:
|
 
|
1. Every public general law which is made to
|
 
|
take effect before the first day of June next after
|
 
|
the session at which it may be passed, which the
|
 
|
Governor and Attorney General shall direct, shall
|
 
|
immediately after its passage be published at the
|

|
expense of the State daily for one week in two daily
|

|
newspapers of the city of Baltimore, one of which
|
 
|
shall be in the German language, and such news-
|
 
|
paper or newspapers in each county as the President
|
 
|
of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Del-
|
 
|
egates may jointly designate.
|
 
|
2. A certified copy of every Public General Law
|
 
|
directed to be published as aforesaid by the Governor
|
 
|
and Attorney General shall be transmitted by mail
|
 
|
by the Secretary of the Senate (if the same origi-
|

nated in the Senate) and by the Chief Clerk of the

|
House of Delegates (if the same originated in the
|
 
|
House of Delegates) immediately after the publica-
|
 
|
tion of the same shall have been directed as afore-
|
 
|
said, to such two daily newspapers of the city of
|
 
|
Baltimore, and such newspaper or newspapers in
|
 
|
