Chapter 225.

 

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Coun-

 

cil of Baltimore city to contract with individuals,

 

firms or corporations, for the use of the water

 

of said city at a fixed price for a prescribed

 

time.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council

 

of Baltimore city are hereby authorized and em-

AN ACT to incorporate the Baltimore, Brooklyn

 

and Cedar Hill Railway Company.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That Levi L. Condon, Riley E.

 

Wright, David R. Knull, Alexander H. Horner,

Harry C Acton and Oregon R, Benson be and they

commissioners

are hereby appointed commissioners to take sub-

 

scriptions to the capital stock of the Baltimore,

 

Brooklyn and Cedar Hill Railway Company hereby

 

incorporated, and that they, or a majority of them,

 

may cause books to be opened at such times and

 

places, and for such period or periods, and upon such

 

notice as they may deem expedient, and may reopen

 

the same from time to time for the purpose of re-

 

ceiving subscriptions to said capital stock; and if

 

any of the above named commissioners shall die,

 

resign or refuse to act, another or others may be

 

appointed in his or their stead by a majority of the

 

remaining commissioners.
