a copy of this law, which he is hereby authorized to

have printed in such form as he thinks best, at the

expense of the State.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That each of the said

officers of registration, appointed for a group of

election precincts in any ward in the city of Balti-

more, shall endorse upon the back, and write at the

head of each registry of voters, and of each poll-

book, delivered to him as aforesaid, the number of
