Chapter 153.

AN ACT to add an additional section to article

nineteen of the Code of Public Local Laws, title

" Somerset county," sub-title " County Commis-

SECTION 1. And be it enacted by the General As-

sembly of Maryland, That an additional section be

added to article nineteen of the Code of Public Local

SECTION 45 A. Whenever the said County Con-

missioners shall elect or designate one of their num-

ber as required by law, as treasurer, it shall be the

duty of said treasurer, before assuming any of the

duties of his said office, to present his bond in the

faithful performance of all his duties imposed upon

him as said treasurer, according to law, which said

bond shall be approved by the clerk of the Circuit

Court for Somerset county, and when so approved
