its abutments, and for necessary and suitable roads

leading to and from the same, for the convenience of

public travel, and said bridge, when built, shall be

maintained and kept in proper repair by the said

County Commissioners as a free bridge.

SEC. 2. And, be it further enacted, That the
|
 
|
County Commissioners for Anne Arundel county be
|
 
|
and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy
on the assessable property of said county in such man-
|

ner and at such time or times as they may deem

best, such sums of money as may be necessary to
|
 
|
carry out and secure the provisions of this act; pro-
|
 
|
vided, however, that such levy shall so be made as
|
 
|
to complete said bridge and the roads suitable for
|
 
|
public travel leading thereto during the year eighteen
|
 
|
hundred and eighty-three, provided thai the cost of
|
 
|
said bridge and constructing necessary roads to reach
|
 
|
the same and putting them in proper and legal con-
|
 
|
dition for travel shall not exceed the sum of fifteen
|
 
|
hundred dollars.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
