Chapter 139.

 

AN ACT to repeal section thirteen of article ninety-

 

eight of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-

 

tled " Wild Fowl," as amended and re-enacted by

 

chapter four hundred and sixty of the acts passed

 

at the January session, eighteen hundred and sev-

 

enty-eight, so far as the same relates to Dorchester

 

county, and to enact the following in lieu thereof:

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That section thirteen of article

 

ninety-eight of the Code of Public General Laws,

 

entitled " Wild Fowl," as amended and re-enacted

by chapter four hundred and sixty of the acts passed

re-enacted..

at the January session, eighteen hundred and sev-

 

enty eight, so far as the same relates to Dorchester

 

county, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-

 

enacted so as to read as follows :

 

SECTION 13. No person shall shoot or in any man-

 

ner catch, kill or have in possession any partridge

 

between the first day of February (said day in-

 

cluded) and the first day of November next ensuing

 

in each and every year; nor any wood cock between

 

the first day of February and the fifteenth day of

June; nor any pheasant between the first day of

 

January (said day included) and the fifteenth day of

 

August; nor any rabbit between the fifteenth day of

 

January and the fifteenth day of October; nor shall

 

any person trap or destroy or molest the eggs or

 

nests of any of the said birds at any time.
