of Catonsville, and have incorporated under the

corporate name of The Catonsville Short-line Rail-
|
 
|
road Company; and whereas said contemplated
|
 
|
railroad will pass through the grounds of the said
|
Preamble.
|
Hospital for the Insane, and is already an assured
|
 
|
fact and of the greatest, importance and most urgent
|
 
|
necessity for the use, convenience and economical
|
 
|
management of said hospital, therefore —
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the Board of Managers of
|
 
|
the Maryland Hospital for the Insane be and they
|
 
|
are hereby authorized and required to grant and
|
 
|
convey unto said Catonsville Short-line Railroad
|
 
|
Company, without compensation, such part or por-
|
 
|
tion of the ground or land belonging to said hospital,
|
 
|
or the managers thereof, as is situate on the line of
|

said railroad, and not exceeding the uniform width

of sixty-six feet; and also to grant ground sufficient

|
for a station and depot on said ground when re-
|
 
|
quired; provided the said railroad shall eventually
|
 
|
be completed to said town of Catonsville, though
|
 
|
said eventual completion shall not be a condition
|
 
|
precedent to the granting of said ground; and pro-
|
 
|
vided said Catonsville Short-line Railroad Com-
|
 
|
pany shall erect on or near the grounds of said
|
 
|
hospital, and on the line of said road, a station or
|
 
|
depot at such point as shall be fixed on by said
|
 
|
Board of Managers.

|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
|
