Chapter 82.

 

AN ACT to repeal sections one and six of an act of

 

Assembly passed January session, eighteen hun-

 

dred and fifty-six, chapter twenty-nine, entitled

 

"An Act to amend an act entitled 'An Act to

 

incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company of

 

Frederick county,' " passed at December session,

 

eighteen hundred and forty-three, chapter one hun-

 

dred and ninety-nine, and to re-enact the same

 

with amendments.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That sections one and six of an

 

act of Assembly passed at January session, eighteen

 

hundred and fifty-six, chapter twenty nine, entitled

 

" An Act to amend an act entitled an act to incor-

nine, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-

 

enacted, so as to read as follows:

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That in case any person or per-

 

sons, or corporate bodies, shall acquire real estate

 

covered by policies of insurance issued by the

 

" Mutual Insurance Company of Frederick county,"

 

by gift, purchase, descent, devise or any other mode,

 

and such policy shall be transferred or assigned to

 

such donee, vendee, heir at law, devisee or alienee

 

by the person holding such policy, such donee,

 

vendee, heirs at law, devisee or alienee shall, if the

 

said transfer or assignment be assented to by the said

 

Mutual Insurance Company, through its board of

original insurer remains uncancelled and a lien upon

may be lawful for the said " Mutual Insurance Com-
