as may be and remain unpaid by said company, or by a sale
of its property and franchises.

Third. And be it further resolved by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Attorney General of the State, be,
and he is hereby authorized and empowered to bring such
other suit or suits in the name of, and behalf of the State,
and perform all such other Acts in relation to the interests
of the State in the Southern Maryland Railroad, he may
deem for the best interests of the State.

Fourth. And be it further resolved by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, that & copy of the testimony and the accom-
panying papers, taken before the Joint Committee, appointed
under the resolutions of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed on the 25th day of January, 1876, in relation to the
Southern Maryland Railroad Company, be transmitted by the
Secretary of the Senate to the Grand Jury of the Criminal
Court of the City of Baltimore.
