Mr. Brewer, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate a Company to
make a Turnpike from Latonsville, in Montgomery county,
via Triadelphia, to the Frederick Turnpike, in Howard county.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Newcomer, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Register of
Wills of Washington county, to transcribe certain records.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Getty, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and require the
County Commissioners of Garrett county, to refund to Alex.
Kitzmiller, certain county taxes paid by him in error.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Lloyd submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

March 31st. 1876.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the
Senate, for further consideration, House Bill No. 49.

Secretary.

Which was read, assentted to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

Mr. Ford, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 156, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title Queen Anne's County," sub-
title "Surveyor."

With the following proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
"Strike out Section 2 "
Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended, was then read the second time.

Mr. Knight, from Committee on Finance, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to
pay Nicholas Beard, of Washington county, $15,16, errone-
ously paid into the Treasury, and to authorize the County
Commissioners of said county to refund to him money im-
properly paid as county taxes.
