The Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to inform the absent
Senators their presence was required in the Senate Chamber.
At 12.25 Mr. Brewer moved that further proceedings nn-
der the call be dispensed with.
Which was decided in the negative by yeas and nays as
AFFIRMATIVE.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Mr. Joyce moved that said bill lie over and be made the
order of the day for Saturday, April 1st, at 1 o'clock.
