more," sub-title "Live Stock," and to re enact the same with
an amendment.

Which was read the first time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following message:

BY THE HOUSE 01 DELEGATES,

March 25th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message requesting the return to
your Honorable Body, far further consideration, the House
bill in relation to the "Crier of the Circuit Court for Queen
Anne's county," and we herewith return the same.

Chief Clerk.
Which was read.

On motion, by Mr. Ford,
The Senate at 3 P. M , took a recess until 8 o'clock P M.

NIGHT SESSION.

MONDAY, March 27, 1876.

Senate met at 8 o'clock P, M.

Present at roll call the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Aydelotte, Bannon, Brewer, Cooper,
Duke, Dennis, Freeman, Getty, Gorman, Hepbron, Joyce,
Knight, Lawrence, Lloyd, McCulloh, Mudd, Phelps. Stevens,
Steiner, Suit, Walsh—22.

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of hills under
the call.

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to
be numbered 220, to Article 26 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title "Corporations," as enacted by chapter 471
of the Acts of 1868,

Being upon its third reading,
On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Was referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact chapter
279 of the Acts of 1870, relating to "Landlord and Tenant,"

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows, with proposed amendments :
