We therefore recommend that a contract be entered into
with the said J. F. Wiley, of Baltimore city, in accordance
with said propositions.

Your Committee would also state that they have examined
into the cost of the printing for the past six sessions and find
that the proposition referred to is nearly thirteen thousand
dollars less than the general average, and it is thirty-one
thousand and four hundred and thirty-six dollars less than
the amount paid for the printing at the last session of the
General Assembly; they have enquired into the competency
and the responsibility of Mr. Wiley, and are fully satisfied
of his ability to perform the work satisfactorily, and they
also recommend that he give a bond in the sum of fifty
thousand dollars, for the faithful performance of the contract;
it is also the opinion of yonr Committee that the following
documents will be required for the use of the General As-
sembly, and they recommend that the following list be spe-
cifically embraced in the contemplated contract:
