The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following messages:

March 23, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We respectfully request your Honorable Body to return to
this House, Senate bill providing for creation of a new Elec-
tion District in Frederick county, to be known as "Lewistown
District, or Election District No. 19."

The President presented the following communication from
the Executive:

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March 23d, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

I have the honor of informing you that 1 have approved
and signed the following Acts which originated in the Senate.

No. 66. An Act to give and declare the sanction and con-
sent of the General Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest of
one thousand dollars to the Presbyterian Church, at New-
town, Worcester county, Maryland, and also to the bequest
of one thousand dollars to the Methodist Church, at Jacobs-
port, Coshocton county, Ohio, and also to the bequest of one
thousand dollars to the Linton Presbyterian Church of Co-
shocton county, Ohio, all contained in the codicil to the last
will and testament of John Gunby, deceased.

No. 67. An Act to repeal Section 164, of Article 22, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Worcester County,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

No. 68. An Act to revive and continue the Act to incor-
porate the Humane Impartial Society and Aged Woman's
Home.
