Mr. Getty from Seleet Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to form a new Election Dis-
trict out of portions of the 3d, 5th and 6th Election Districts
of Garrett county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Newcomer, from Select Committee, reported favora-
bly the following bills:

1st. House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 423, of
the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to repeal Section 20 of Ar-
ticle 28, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "County
Commissioners," sub-title "Roads," and to re-enact the
same with amendments, so far as the same applies to Wash-
ington county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

2d. House bill entitled an Act td add additional Sections
to Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Washington county," sub-title "County Commissioners,"
to be numbered from Section 87 A, to Section 87 T, inclu-
sive.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Humphreys, from Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

House bill entitled an Act to require the Commissioners of
Prince George's county, to pay annually to the Commission-
ers of the village of Bladensburg, the amount of the road
tax levied or taxed upon property within the limits of said
corporation.

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "enacted," insert "by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.
Mr. Hepbron, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the

Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace, in

and far the 2nd election district of Kent county.
Which was read the first time.

Mr. Lloyd, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 10, of chap. 505,

of the incorporation Act passed January Session, 1874, and

to enact the following in lieu thereof.
Which was read the second time.

Mr, McCulloh, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
