Senate bill entitled an Aet to appropriate a sum of money
to pay the claims of divers editors of newspapers in this State
for publishing the Act entitled an Act to amend Section 8, of
Article 4, of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, passed
at January Session, 1874, authorized and directed by the
Governor, under the provisions of Section 1, Article 14, of
of the Constitution and proclamation of the Governor, an-
nouncing the adoption of the amendment by the people.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Mr. Freeman submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

March 15th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received your message asking the return to your
Honorable Body, of the bill to prevent stock from running at
large in Baltimore county, and near Baltimore city, and re-
spectfully copcuf therein and herewith return said bill.

AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY,

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Harford county, to divide any of the election
districts in said county, into election precincts, and to desig-
nate the places of holding elections therein,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
lows, with proposed amendments:

of the Acts of 1872, ch. 54, relating to Wild Fowl, and to
re-enact the same with amendments,
