Mr. Suit submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Page 3, printed bill, under the head of "Inspectors,"
strike out all after the word "the," down to the word "five"
in 1st line.

Pending the consideration of said amendment,
On motion by Mr. Lee,

The Senate, at 3.10 P M., went into Executive Session.

At 3.15 P. M., the Senate resumed the consideration of
Legislative business, when,
On motion by Mr. Suit,

The Senate adjourned.

NIGHT SESSION.

WEDNESDAY, March 15th, 1876.
Senate met at 8 P. M.
Present at roll call the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Aydelotte, Brewer, Cooper, Duke, Den-
nis, Freeman, Ford; Getty, Hepbron, Knight, Mudd, New-
comer, Steiner—14.

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of bills upon
their second and third reading under the call.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of chapter
122, of the Acts of 1854, amending the charter of the South
Baltimore Company, increasing the capital stock of said Com-
pany, and extending the charter, and to protect the rights of
said Company from forfeiture by non-user.

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Ford,
Aydelotte, Getty,
Brewer, Hepbron,
Cooper, Knight,
Dnke, Mudd,
Dennis,. Newcomer,
Freeman, Steiner—14.

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
