Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland :
I have approved and signed the following Acts that ori-
ginated in the Senate:
No. 59. An Act to repeal an Act passed at January Ses-
sion, 1874, chapter 436, entitled an Act to repeal chapter
169, of the Act of 1872, entitled an Act for the better pro-
tection of Partridges in Queen Anne's county; and also to
add an additional Section to Article 98 of the Code.
No. 60. An Act to appropriate a sum of money for the
purpose of making repairs and additions to the furniture of,
and for procuring articles necessary for the uses of the Execu-
tive Mansion.
No. 61. An Act to provide for the sale to the County Com-
missioners of Cecil county of the State's interest in the Bo-
hemia Bridge Company.
No. 62. An Act to prevent the increase of gates on the
public roads in Calvert county.

The following Senate bill having passed both branches of
the General Assembly of Maryland, was this day presented
to His Excellency, the Governor, for his approval:
An Act to amend the Act passed at the present session of
the General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to re-
peal and re-enact with amendments an Act of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session, in the
year eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter three hun-
dred and thirty-four, approved March thirtieth, eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-eight, entitled an Act supplementary and
amendatory of an Act, passed at the present session of the
General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend the
charter of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad Com-
pany, passed at the January Session, eighteen hundred and
forty-nine, chapter 469, and to further repeal and amend
said last named Act by amending the third section thereof
and re-enacting the same as amended.
