mittee on Finance.

The President announced the unfinished business to be the
Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the General Val-
uation and Assessment of Property in this State.

Mr. Bannon withdrew the amendment heretofore submit-
ted by him.

Mr. Suit submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out the word "five" in line 3, and insert "four."
Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment to the
amendment :

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by inserting "three."
Which was rejected by yeas and nays as follows:
