Mr. Lloyd submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

February. 29, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Bouse of Delegates :

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the
Senate for further consideration the bill entitled an Act to
repeal Section 145, of the Act of 1874, chapter 483, title
"Revenue and Taxes," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for cleaning out the
harbor and basin and docks of the City of Baltimore, and for
the permanent removal of the causes whereby the waters of
the said harbor and basin have been polluted, and to author-
ize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to issue bonds to
the amount of one million dollars to defray the expenses of
said work,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and pays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.
