JOURNAL.

ANNAPOLIS, January 5th, 1876.
STATE OF MARYLAND, TO WIT :

In compliance with the requirements of the Constitution,
the Senators, and Senators elect, assembled in the Senate
Chamber this day.

At 12 o'clock, Augustus Gassaway, Secretary of the late
Senate, proceeded to call the roll, when the following Sena-
tors answered to their names :

Allegany County—Thomas G. McCulloh.
Baltimore City—

" " 2nd Legislatve Dist.—Francis P. Stevens.
Caroline County—Daniel Fields.
Cecil County—William M. Knight.
Charles County—George D. Mudd.
Dorchester County—Francis P. Phelps.
Garrett County—William R. Getty.
Harford County—John Carroll Walsh,
Montgomery County—Nicholas Brewer.
Prince George's County—S. Taylor Suit.
Talbot County—Edward Lloyd.
Worcester County—William T. Aydelotte.
The following Senators elect also answered to their names:
Anne Arundel County—Michael Bannon.
Baltimore County—Edward D. Freeman.
Baltimore City—1st Legislative Dist.—John H. Cooper.
